Unfortunately, Joel is on her radar now. Which means pestering him when she sees him. She's happily installed herself as a fairly regular employee in at least one of the shops. (Thanks for that btw)

She absolutely does keep true to her goal of seeing he's kept in coffee and hot drinks when she can manage it. Even if that means spotting him from afar, going to get it, and then hoping he's still in roughly the same place when she gets back. Maybe he didn't adopt her, but she's adopting him.
