where do they hang out?
kotone can be Literally Anywhere, but she prefers to stay closer to town unless hanging out with someone else. she's not opposed to exploring; it's just easier to stay close to all of her friends (especially shinji). like everyone, she's currently staying in one of the inns and doesn't mind it at all. she's pretty flexible!

hobbies: baking, sewing, eating

how's their day like?
with the food shortage, she's been helping out in the kitchen a lot, but once the fridges are fixed and the immediate Problems have passed, i'd like for her to start up a sewing club! nothing formal or fancy, but just a place for people to get together and hang out if they want to. she also wouldn't be opposed to hanging out with people if they wanted to try sparring with her, but it isn't really something she'd normally suggest on her own (even if she's very comfortable carrying a naginata around)

she generally likes to stick her nose into everyone's business, #protagproblems, so if there's anything you'd like an energetic teen to pester your character about, hit me up! her favorite activities to do with others are: a) eating with them, b) helping them (in that order)

if they've interacted even briefly, feel free to assume that she's always waving at them in passing or checking in to make sure they're doing alright, do they need anything, etc. etc.

where do they hang out? Vholran is a homeless drifter who usually hangs out on rooftops and steals food to survive. He doesn't enjoy living this way, but he doesn't trust housing.
hobbies: Vholran doesn't have any hobbies. I'd say he's working on it but he's not.
how's their day like? Unemployed drifter. Might be visible leaping from rooftop to rooftop sometimes.

where do they hang out? The bottom of Lorentia Cave
hobbies: He spends most of his time doing kata, meditating, and reading
how's their day like? Sephiroth is usually somewhere at the bottom of the Lorentia Cave system being watched over by a dragon he is slowly brainwashing. Sometimes he can be seen wandering Aldrip, talking to merchants, and visiting shrines, libraries and temples, trying to learn more about Those Who Were There. Recently, after the return from Rumpitur, he had a very weird interaction with a merchant from abroad who was carrying his mother's decapitated head. As one does.

Sometimes emerges from hibernation to hunt monsters or haul ore in exchange for goods and services in Aldrip. This is rare.

When he first arrived he basically lived at the library. These days when Sephiroth is seen in town it's almost always an astral projection. His physical body rarely leaves his cave outside events.

where do they hang out? he's just chillin
Or: around town, mostly... he doesn't like crowds much but he may linger around the edges of one if it seems important or interesting. Re: the food shortage he's been up in any local kitchen that will have him and he should probably make a real paying job out of that, but he isn't there yet. When he's not doing that... he's made a few trips back and forth through the spooky woods, if you want to handwave an interaction there. In his myriad off hours he's around town, likely not far from the inn, which is where he is still living.

hobbies: Lurk. Loom. No, his true loves when it comes to hobbies are cooking and looking after cute animals, you may have seen him around doing the former and maybe even been aggressively handed something to eat!! He's been doing a lot of cooking, for obvious reasons!! He is tragically mortified by the ordeal of being known, etc, so if you catch him petting a stray dog or something he might freeze like a deer in headlights. It happens. why did i write this much about two hobbies

how's their day like? For the third time he is doing a lot of Cooking, also if you've been vaguely friendly to him he will Nod Hello to you sometimes. If you made it to friendship tier (godspeed figuring out if this is you) he will sometimes just show up with food and demand you eat it and mind your important food groups. Eat your veggies, etc. This is the primary way he knows how to express his Care.

where do they hang out? The inn, the LIBRARY, out in the areas surrounding Aldrip as he does odd jobs and tries to get the lay of the land (he is also making his own maps because he Trusts Nothing), around town, anywhere he can get a good drink. Prior to the food shortage, he was absolutely scouting out all of the best places to eat, as well, because he has high standards with food.
hobbies: Currently working his way through the library's entire catalogue to find out as much as he can about this place, tinkering (tuning his gun, taking apart native technology to see what makes it tick), mapmaking, sniffing around for treasure, looking dashing, Fashion, currently in the running for the most paranoid/suspicious Chosen in town. Also trying to figure out why he's apparently missing some memories, which is not helping with the paranoid bit.
how's their day like? You won't catch him taking a day job, but he spends a lot of his days picking up odd jobs and using them as a way to get a closer look at how the locals do things, on top of the pay. He'd prefer some good old-fashioned piracy, but without his ship, he's currently grounded (and cranky about it). He is including searching for information on aeronautics in this world (or if they even exist) during his deep library research dives. If anyone in town needs anything mechanical fixed, he is Suddenly There. He's all over the place, very easy to run into pretty much anywhere as he's busy being a nosy, cheeky man about town. He can often be found with his BFF + partner-in-crime Fran. He also hangs out with Rin on the regular, she understands his need for fancy shirts and supports his conspiracy theories.

where do they hang out? He's out and about town, currently staying at the inn (sharing a room with Alphen and Law). Not as big on exploration outside of Aldrip as Balthier is, but he is making it his business to get to know the town inside and out, as well as its people.
hobbies: Music! Poetry! Archaeology! Painting, reading, anything at all to do with the arts. Diplomacy! Struggling with very basic life skills. Working on getting to know more about the local flora. Looking pensively in Kisara's direction. Allowing himself to be slowly crushed by the weight of his sins, as well as those of every single Renan that ever lived.
how's their day like? Dohalim's primary focus is ingratiating himself to the locals to put himself in a position to learn more about their ongoing situation + gain some political/diplomatic leverage by keeping himself in good standing. He has been getting to know local business owners and looking into how trade is sustained around these parts, so he's really easy to come across literally anywhere in Aldrip at the moment and will likely be found participating in any activity that might generate some good will. Lately, he has been spending many of his afternoons out in the fields outside town, assisting in encouraging plant growth with the use of his astral artes, which he is adapting to be used with this world's ambient energy. He's also another frequent visitor of the library, because what's better for a history buff than to have a whole new world to learn the history of?

These days Sephiroth mostly wanders around as an illusion but he is still ~investigating~. When he first showed up Balthier would DEFINITELY have seen him in the library. Libraries having staff and, hence, hours might be the only thing that stopped him from just hanging out there and not eating or sleeping until he felt his curiosity was ...well not sated but that he felt he got everything out of the library he could.

where do they hang out? During the day, he'll be patrolling the borders of Aldrip, doing a bit of exploring to see how far he can get before getting into trouble, and doing odd jobs of manual labor for the locals to make enough money to keep his room and board. In the evenings, he hangs out in a corner of the inn he's staying at, keeping an eye on all the exits and gathering intel.

how's their day like? As stated above, he does odd jobs/manual labor/handyman type work for various Aldrip locals to earn money, and when he's not doing that, he's poking around the borders. Not looking for "adventure" or whatever, just hunting, trying to figure things out, see if he can find the portal back home, etc etc etc. Also gathering intel, however he can.
