Does Vholran remember anything from before getting biohacked? Is there any part of his previous life that he misses?

He absolutely remembers things! He even mentions in the last fight that he remembers being whipped.

I doubt there is anything about his old life that he misses. He gets angry whenever anyone mentions anything that reminds him of his past. As far as he's concerned he was a victim back that and nothing else. He had no freedom, no friends, no joy or pleasure, he just tried to survive. Now he's devoted his entire existence to never being a victim again... by victimizing everyone else.
