Flamboyant
A pale fantasy Japanese-looking young man with an intense gaze. He moves like a dancer and talks with his hands, making him very lively but there is a sense one might get of deep unhappiness in there. The robe he always wears hides his build but if he were to remove it one would see a lot of muscle. His body used to belong to a skilled samurai. While not bulky, he is well-defined.
His robe and belt are adorned with chains that rattle when he moves. Yes, he is entirely capable of being silent but he prefers to announce his presence with these chains and an overly theatrical mannerism. If he is around you'll know it. He'll make sure you know it.
SOUND
This crazy bastard has two voices. One is actually the voice of Asahi sas Brutus. That would be the original owner of this body. When he speaks directly through his physical larynx, these are the noises that come out.
The other is his own voice which is throaty and lilting. Unless noted otherwise, assume he is speaking in his own voice. In a world where nobody knows Asahi he doesn't use the other one much.
SCENT
Like nothing. Literally nothing! It's actually pretty weird. You could bury your face in his hood and do a ten-second inhale and only smell the ambient scents of the area. Do not do this though.

... sigh. so. Yu has no charm stat, he just weirdly arrived in Inaba with it already at max or something. As a silent protag, extra emphasis goes into describing his body language and expressions; he has a really great poker face, but doesn't always use it, so it's not usually hard to tell his general vibe from his facial expression. He's about as put-together in Aldrip as he was at home, keeping his clothes and hair tidy. His wardrobe is a weird combination of simple, refined, and trendy; he doesn't dress flashy, but does come across as cool, which is unfortunate, because he's actually a nerd. Despite what some of his icons might make you think, he doesn't wear glasses.
SOUND
Yu speaks pretty casually, using almost no honorifics and calling most people by their first name. His English voice actor is Johnny Yong Bosch, and he actually talks in p4 dancing so! enjoy! His Japanese voice is weirdly super deep, which is also funny.
SCENT

Like I said -- he's a silent protag, so there's extra emphasis in tags on body language, tone, and expression to balance that. He tends to be a weird combination of quiet and quite extroverted, which is funny.

She's green! Tendi has freckles, short buzzed hair, and precisely zero poker face. She doesn't wear her Starfleet uniform every day, but she does sometimes carry around some of her stuff: usually a tricorder and/or a phaser. In terms of wardrobe, she tends to go for comfort and practicality instead of flashiness, with some subtle style blended in: boots or comfy shoes, pants or shorts, stuff like that. She'll definitely rock a cropped shirt in the summer. She normally goes for darker colors and cool hues (obviously, usually she avoids green). Also, in spite of the fact that she has green blood, she goes red when she blushes. Yeah I don't get it either.
SOUND
Effusive. Let's just call it effusive. It is very, very obvious when she's really excited about something, or when she's worried, or concerned, etc etc etc. She's still struggling not to call the other Starfleet officers (all of whom outrank her rip) Sir, but generally she's pretty personable in terms of sound. She snorts when she laughs. Here's a clip of her hijacking a spaceship, because surprise! pirate!
SCENT
Oh boy I actually have an answer for this one! Tendi lacks the pheromones that some other Orions have, so she doesn't actually have "the stink" and therefore smells pretty ordinary.
MISC
One thing that becomes notable over time is that, in spite of her bubbly personality, she's actually weirdly cool under pressure, especially when it comes to fighting or other action scenarios. Also: D'Vana is her first name (Tendi is her family name), but she's so used to being called Tendi in Starfleet that she's sort of just been introducing herself that way out of habit...oops.

BUILD: Her body is actually somewhat variable due to her powers, but in her most common form, she's slender and busty, a very 'idealized' body type. That said, she doesn't exactly wear fitting clothes, so it's hard to really get a good look at her body type.

VISION
Fauna is a Japanese girl with bright red hair, fox ears, a tail. She's short, slender, and has a very "idealized" sort of body- Thin waist, large bust, etc. But most of her clothes are stolen or scavenged, so they don't fit well, making it hard to tell. Her eyes have slit pupils instead of rounded ones.
Her general fashion sense is 'punk'. Leather jackets, chokers, she wants to look Tough.
Her posture is abysmal. She's always slouching or leaning, at least partially because she has a tail, but also generally just is constantly looking bored. She carries herself like someone who is ready to start throwing hands at just about any moment- When she meets someone, she tends to first focus on sizing them up as a threat, looking to see if they seem strong and looking for pockets to see if they're armed, before checking for escape routes. She's constantly looking around, her ears and eyes always looking around and trying to get in all the information.
She's also constantly in small motion- Tapping a foot, moving her tail, flicking something. She can't focus unless she's doing something with her body.
She carries her tail close to her, like it's gotten caught in things before. Despite that and the slouching, she tends to try to give off an imposing presence to make herself seem bigger than she is. She's very much trying too hard to seem strong.
In moments of extreme emotional stress, her body may start changing regardless of her will- Her eyes will turn red as the first sign, but if it continues, her body will start gaining traits of her transformed state- A gray, armored appearance.
SOUND
She tends to speak in a low, growling tone. She has a lot of hangups about her voice, so she tends towards quieter, but she's pretty easy to provoke into being louder and shouting. Her voice is rough and she's got very masculine speech patterns. She talks like a thug. Her pronoun in Japanese is 'ore'.
But when you actually get her happy and relaxed, as rare as that is, it becomes clear a lot of that is an affectation, and she'll forget to lower her voice or growl.
SCENT
I'm gonna say her smell is probably inconsistent. She has no home so she has to use whatever public facilities there are and whatever they have handy, so she just uses whatever she has handy and smells like that.
MISC
She has limited shapeshifting capabilities! By which I mean mostly she changes her color scheme and animal traits. She can replace her fox ears and tail with owl horns and tailfeathers, and her hair and eyes turn purple for that. She can also replace them with lion ears and a tail, and her hair and eyes turn gold for that. (In lion mode, she's a little taller and more muscular, in owl form, she's a little shorter and thinner.)

MORPH aka Kevin Sydney

VISION
In Morph's natural appearance (the one they walk around as most of the time), Morph has off-white skin, eyes that are a solid white, and a completely hairless body. The form they prefer is on the slender side, sporting some visible muscle but overall more toned than super muscular. They're also seen wearing their superhero costume more often than not, and now Morph has the jacket to go along with it like in the picture.
They have another form that is basically their human disguise, which looks like this - with a similar height and face shape, but more obviously masculine, with a vaguely asian look including dark brown cropped hair and brown eyes. (And the modern animation is a glow-up from how they looked in the original cartoon).
As far as ~fashion~ goes I headcanon that when they do dress up, it's more androgynous styles and on occasion they do crossdress. Though they prefer more early 90s styles and bright colors they do have a pretty good fashion sense, it's just going to feel outdated.
SOUND
They sound like this, their voice is on the masculine side, but higher pitched. They retain this when using their human disguise but any other form they use is going to have a different voice accompanying it. I tend to write them with a very casual way of speaking because that's just Morph's vibe tbh!
SCENT
Presumably they have a regular human-like scent, because it's a plot point (and a weakness of their powers) that Morph retains the same scent no matter what form they're in. I imagine they prefer to wear lighter, fruity scents though, and they aren't afraid to use perfume instead of cologne depending on their mood.
MISC
Their costume is made of unstable molecules, the benefit of which is that Morph can shift it along with them when they want to recreate other clothing. While they CAN be technically naked and shift whatever clothing they want, usually they're using their costume to do this instead. Less drafty that way.

Sephiroth is considered a beautiful young man, and carries himself with a lot of grace and confidence. He's very pale and has no piercings or tattoos or scars to speak of, since he heals too quickly for them to take (and also, even if Sephiroth was interested in piercings or tattoos, Hojo and President Shinra would never allow them). He's a superhuman and has none of the experiences most children go through, so he tends to be almost eerily still when he's not actively choosing to move, and he doesn't blink nearly often enough for comfort. He usually wears some version of his uniform, and otherwise prefers utilitarian clothing that's easy to move and fight in.

LANGUAGE: Korean, presumably -- There are other languages in The City (German, Spanish, English, etc), but since Limbus Company's a Korean game, I'm going to assume that's the default in that setting.
VISION
Somewhat taller than average and wearing a red version of the Limbus Company uniform, the clock that is their head is the most memorable part of them. If it weren't for that, they probably wouldn't stand out much at all. Hell, even then it doesn't stick out that much where they're from, since full-body prosthetics are a thing in The City. It's just that no one really picks a clock for their head.
Fun fact: Dante's clock-head isn't based on ones that tell time. It's based on the Doomsday Clock.

Tick-tock. But no, really. Voiced cutscenes, unvoiced cutscenes, you'll just hear various clock noises, the occasional cash register, and a train whistle-like sound they make when incredibly surprised or distressed. For an example of what this is like, this short conversation with Yi Sang is a good example.

Pretty ordinary? Maybe a hint of cigarette smoke from the two smokers on the bus, but I imagine the City has one hell of a laundry system going considering all the dystopia going on there.

The first thing most everyone says about Seimei is that he looks like a fox--a narrow face with high cheekbones and piercing eyes that always look like they know something you don't, and might be mocking you for it. He's similarly slender in build, but even in Expi tends to obscure that with loose fitting clothes, sweaters and long coats and such with accents of red.
When at home and not expecting anyone he schlubs it up in baggy t shirts and sweat pants, though.
SOUND
Seimei speaks in a smooth and refined manner, which contrasts with how blunt and rude the words he's actually saying are. There's an aloofness in his voice that makes it sound like he's never quite fully paying attention to the conversation, or that some of his statements are questions meant to be considered. I have his Japanese voice in mind when writing him.
His English voice is just as smooth and refined, but has a bit more of an obvious Attitude.
SCENT
Floral, but in a wildflower way rather than a cultivated garden way. Hints of ink and paper are bound to follow him everywhere too.
(Those with enhanced senses may smell something a little more beastly about him.)

Not knowing Seimei's age is a running gag in many other adaptations of the novel, implying he could be absurdly old, but in this one we get to see him as a kid with people who are still alive so he's at least a normal human age. Here, though, babies for your pocket♥

A ghost! In his default form he is kind of transparent and wispy around the edges, his colors a little washed out. He also floats, but he tries to remain as grounded as possible. He stays very still by default because he usually forgets to do idle movements, but if he's Thinking he will fidget more. If he's getting emotional(tm) he starts to wisp a little harder and it's very embarrassing. He also can alchemy up a golem to possess that looks Like Him, but it's a construct made of flesh and goo and not organs and bones, so it also looks kind of wrong if you look at it too long. It doesn't have joints but it still bends. He has not managed to make one yet because no one will give him blood... bleas...
SOUND
I've been describing him as chalky and dusty, since, you know, dead. He has an overall muted affect because he doesn't remember how to be a real person all the time that's most notable in the way he doesn't inflect his questions. Pauses a lot. If he's getting into it about Science or getting angry about being dead or anything else, he starts sounding more like a normal, living guy, but it'll fade back down again. I don't have a clip that's comparable to the Vision... so. 🧍
SCENT
Kind of the way ice and snow and cold water smell, the non-presence of a scent, with an undefined chemical undertone. His horrible golem smells like ink.

Richard Plantagenet
AGE: 30
HEIGHT: There is no official height for Richard but... he is pretty tiny? He is a lot shorter than other men in the canon and only slightly taller than the female cast. But you know, it is a shoujo-manga. I personally headcanon Richard to be around 5'6 - 5'7.
BUILD: Twink. Very much so that I do find it kinda funny. However, considering that Richard has spent pretty much his entire life in the battlefield and wearing an armor I do headcanon that despite being slim he is also rather muscular.
HAIR: Black
EYES: Richard has heterochromia. His right eye is black while the left one is light gold. Most of time Richard keeps his "bad eye" hidden underneath his bangs.
ORIGIN: England, Earth.
LANGUAGE: Medieval English.
VISION
Richard is someone who has spent most of his life living in the shadows, hiding in the background while his older brothers would shine and make some darn idiotic decisions. This has led him not to be too keen on standing out -- at least unless it is necessary, preferring to stay withdrawn to himself and moving quietly. However, Richard does carry himself with poise and dignity.
There is also pretty much always a very neutral expression on his face. He has long eyelashes and naturally rosy lips like any good shoujo protag. Overall he has pretty delicate facial structure and slender frame. Oh yeah. He also very much tries to cover his body as much as he can in dark leather like any good self-respecting goth out there.
SOUND
I am not actually big fan of Richard's VA (Japanese or English) buuut, he is a contralto with a deep and rich yet pretty feminine voice. He does speak pretty politely and with mild temperament. Tho I do find it funny that he seems to have only two settings: neutrality where he speaks with short sentences or the opposite where he delivers passionate and motivational speeches about worth of one's soul, light and darkness, how to overcome your enemies and so on.
SCENT
Idk fam. It's medieval England?? Ok all jokes aside, Richard is actually pretty clean and does wash himself as part of his daily routine. He is pretty fancy on that end. In canon we see his wife once mention that Richard smells "very nice" and like roses.
MISC
The theme with Richard's design seems to be the opposites. He does not resemble rest of his family at all, which is a big insecurity for him and he does try to hide anything that is "abnormal" about his body (like his eye). Richard was also born as intersex and is male presenting. Other than that uhhh.. He has lots of small scars and nicks around his body from all the fighting. Plus he has fucked up left arm from the time he went and soaked it in... acid. To gaslight his enemies. Yeah.

He doesn't give off the strongest of vibes and some might even say he comes off as a bit of a pushover. And that's usually true at first glance. He might also look a bit haggard, since he's usually the one corralling his unruly family. He doesn't have the strongest fashion sense and is usually see wearing hoodies and other normal clothes.
When his Hyper Dying Will is activated, Tsuna's eyes turn a warm orange and a bright flame burns in the centre of his forehead. He also gains two red gauntlets

Tsuna speaks fairly casually, but also employs honorifics when addressing people, usually -san or -kun or -chan depending on the person. He's pretty polite. Usually if you're close to him he'll have some way of addressing you that's almost a nickname (Canon examples include Gokudera-kun, Yamamoto, etc). When he's particularly nervous or impressed he makes a "Hie!" sound that's like a quick intake of air.
Tsuna is voiced by Yukari Kokubun in the anime. (Brittany Lauda in the extremely recent english dub, according to wikipedia). At about 1:45 in this video you can hear his voice. (Prior to that is Reborn)

VISION
Many people describe Aether as "radiant" or "golden", likely due to his long blonde hair, amber eyes and various gold elements on his outfit. His clothing in particular is said to look quite exotic and out of place in any nation he visits, making him stand out all the more as a foreign traveler. He's no doubt handsome or even beautiful, and there are quite a few instances where people try to flirt with him or compliment his features, particularly his eyes. He always carries himself with an air of confidence and despite fighting and getting in trouble all the time, he does not have any scars on his body.
It is unclear what exactly he is, but aside from being unable to age and being able to use elemental energy without a Vision, he seems very much like a regular human. Fun fact? He describes himself as a star in many instances and the text that talks about him and his sister being captured by Teyvat's gravity also refers to both of them as stars.
On the other hand, Aether does look young and it's a running joke that he is unable to get anyone to serve him alcohol for that reason. He's not very tall or muscular either so those who haven't heard of his achievements are quick to underestimate him.
SOUND
Aether is one of those silent protags, but he does actually have voiced dialogue every now and then. Multiple characters note that he's pretty quiet, allowing Paimon to do all the talking to the point that, for instance, Heizou calls Paimon "Traveler's Voice". It should be noted that Aether did not know the language used in Teyvat at first and Paimon was teaching him for months, so it could be assumed that he got so used to letting her talk for him that he doesn't feel like changing anything. He's more of an observer anyway.
Aether is generally soft-spoken. Unless he doesn't like or distrusts you, then he can be pretty harsh with his words. He's voiced by Shun Horie in Japanese dub.
SCENT
Apparently he smells like the stars?? Whatever that even means. Tanuki say he smells nice. Probably also smells kind of like herbs and flowers since he picks those up all the time.
MISC
Funny enough, the tanuki of the forest in Inazuma seem to recognize him as much older than he appears and once called him "uncle" which made him respond with "It's not uncle. It's big bro." Aether sees himself as a big brother figure to many people.

Levi has not dressed himself for most of his life, so his wardrobe is simple and largely what the clerks or other people suggested to him.

Generally speaks softly and sounds unsure of himself. In combat or dangerous situations he flips into soldier mode and has a more confident tone. If he's got any sort of accent it'd be eastern european-esq.

Bakugo is muscular and athletic in the way that can be easily hidden by appropriately baggy clothes, which is what he usually wears - more specifically, he tends to wear athletic clothes or clothes that are easy to move in, t-shirts or long-sleeved t-shirts (his favourite has a stylized skull on the front) or tank tops over baggy trousers/jeans or sweatpants. His posture is pretty good, though he can sway his back a little bit in an overly-casual "swag" sort of position. Often seen stretching his shoulders and arms by bringing them across his chest and pulling backward on them. Bakugo has quite a few scars, mostly across his torso from being run through or stabbed on many different occasions. No tattoos or piercings (yet).
SOUND
Bakugo's voice is rough and a little hoarse, and he usually speaks loudly, in a tone of voice that's almost shouting. Even when not being loud, though, his voice is a little throaty/rough. His voice is mid-toned, not deep or high-pitched, and he speaks quite casually. You can hear examples of it on YouTube here.
SCENT
Bakugo is exactly the type of edgy teen who buys into those "for men" products with weird smells like "GUN BARREL" or "SEA ROCKS" or whatever. So usually he probably smells of those kinds of products - lots of woodsy scents, musk, fresh air, leather, cedar, etc. Very masculine. Underneath or on top of those scents (depending on whether he's been working out) he almost always smells a little bit like sweat, not the old gross body odor kind but the fresh clean kind of sweat you sweat when you're working out.

VISION
Kurama has consistently good posture, but he does lean against walls and stand fairly casually. His hands are almost always either balled into fists at his side or hidden in his pockets, outside of his tendency to gesture while talking. Despite this tense body language, as Shuichi, Kurama's got the opposite of Resting Bitch Face in that he looks perpetually amused more than anything. Chances are if a conversation is casual, he's just idly smiling the whole time. Which I do not have enough decent icons of.
Also, He just pops out of bushes and appears out of thin air. I have a gif somewhere, this is not it though.
He features are delicate enough to be occasionally mistaken for a castmate's girlfriend when they're seen together. He's very soft/feminine/pretty looking, which comes with a running gag in the manga that the anime basically cut out.
His hair is cut in a hime style shag that goes down to his waist, with two shorter parts over the front of his shoulders. It's a fox tail. Presumably, he does this intentionally, as he likes to accessorize.
The real world equivalent of his hair is basically a mix of this and this.

Kurama dresses in traditional martial arts gear (pictured) for battle or extremely casual in the manga. The anime did not fix this for over 20 years so he has like 4 entirely separate senses of style/wardrobes, and I have no decent icons. His closet must be huge. One thing that is consistent is that his clothing is always baggy or in layers, making it extremely difficult to get an idea of his build. He also never wears his hair up in the anime, not a single time.

Kurama is played by a woman in Japanese and has a very gender nuetral voice, his voice is also higher in earlier parts of the dub, getting deeper as he ages and the series goes on. I do not think this was intentional, but it's super fitting. (So samples will vary, basically.)
As a human, he is exceptionally polite and formal, however he doesn't seem to use honorifics except with Kuwabara. I have no explanation for this. Generally, when speaking his tone is fairly nuetral while serious, but often carries a hint of amusement otherwise. The best indicator for which he'll use is thread context, at a holiday/party/festival event? Chances are higher he's outwardly amused and his tone will match. Talking about the destruction of the universe? Serious and nuetral, it is.
while outwardly pleasant, Kurama can be distant and closed off emotionally. He keeps others at arms length and this can be evident in the way he talks, sometimes seemingly distracted or like he's looking for an out of the situation. This isn't really something that happens in games, it's kind of his Customer Service Voice for school. Be as boring as possible and the humans might leave him alone.
Very serious and all business on the surface, Kurama’s also a bit of a troll and likes to tease when an opportunity arises, so possible to catch him in that mode as well. His tone carries a certain lilt to it when he's gearing up to tease or getting a dig in at someone (usually Hiei).
When angry, Kurama reverts to a very short and clipped no-nonsense manner of speech similar to how he talks as a demon. He uses fewer words, can be more commanding and his voice lowers with his mood. Although it doesn't get as deep as his demon form's. Kurama gets this angry like ONCE in the whole series, so you really have to traumatize him to see it happen.
SCENT
Kurama would smell human to anyone with a sense to take note of that. Although it is mentioned once he smells "half human" by another demon, so if anyone wants to work that in somehow, let me know? This is a dub thing, they change a lot of "energy reading" to scent for some reason.
For the average person he's going to smell pretty floral, roses are a staple so the most likely/obvious scent on him. Although it's possible to catch the smell of other vegetation or dirt/earth on him, he does garden the old fashioned way even with his powers.

ellie's the definition of small but fighty. the most obvious thing about her appearance is that she's on the underfed side of thin. she's been raised on a diet of rations, so she's only 5'3" and slight. her hair is auburn and looks redder in the sunlight. it's always in a ponytail with side-swept bangs that are held in place by her hopes and dreams. her eyes are light green. body language-wise, she never seems relaxed and always appears ready to move or fight. she holds herself like someone always on guard. she has a scar on her right eyebrow.
when she is not wearing long sleeves, Ellie has her arm visibly wrapped, and will tell anyone who asks that it's a chemical burn. it's actually a healed over bite mark, cw for a gnarly photo.

she's voiced by the fantastic Ashley Johnson (cw for some blood and gore in parts). her biggest vocal tic is she, uh, swears. A lot. she's not good at moderating her tone, so if she's pissed, you'll hear it. if she's happy, you'll hear that too. her emotions come through in her voice pretty clearly.
SCENT
she doesn't wear any scents at all, so she just smells like skin, sweat, and sometimes gunpowder. anyone with advanced senses may be able to pick up the faint scent of earth on her thanks to the whole mushroom fungus infection thing.

On the one hand, Visas tries to remain shadowy and unobtrusive. On the other, her style of clothing stands out. She wears a crimson veil over her head that drapes down over where her eyes would be if she had eyes, as it is traditional for the Miraluka to cover their empty sockets with either wrappings or veil. She wears long robes and gloves as though trying to let as little of herself as possible come into contact with the outside world.
Her body language is typically very still. When at rest, she often kneels to meditate. She has a habit of accidentally surprising people with her presence simply because being inobtrusive is a long-ingrained habit.
Beneath her clothing, she has many scars. Most Miraluka have skin covering their empty eye sockets, but Visas does not--it was destroyed when Nihilus claimed her as his servant.
SOUND
Visas speaks in a formal manner to compensate for the fact that it's been a long time since she's engaged in normal conversations. She doesn't easily get exercised or raise her voice, even if the person she's talking to does, but when on a subject that she has strong feelings about her tone will get more intense. Mostly she tries to stay levelheaded and tries to navigate to the end of the conversation as best she can. Her VA is Kelly Hu. This is a sample of her voice acting for the part.
Visas is also a very quiet walker--although suitable for rugged environments, her boots make a very light and quiet step. Combined with her own personal habits, this means it can be hard to know that she is actually nearby until she announces herself. Although she doesn't do it to be an assassin or abductor anymore, it's still a hard habit to shake.
SCENT
Visas keeps herself clean, but she also lives in an unfinished basement so there can be a little bit of cement/must/basement smell about her.
