I am canon blind but I love how you have been writing Douman. He really feels like a rich and complex character. There is an element of tragedy to him that shines through in your tags. Also, your prose when writing his thought process is beautiful.

Ahhh, thank you so much and also I'm so very sorry for how long my reply here and our tag has taken me! Life's hit me where it hurts, and I'm only slowly getting back to my usual routine again. I have been having a lot of fun with his interactions with Fandaniel so far, and I'd absolutely love to have more of them whenever you're up for it!
