When I was head researcher, I had an entire team at my disposal, and the technological resources of my people.

Here, I would have to develop every piece of machinery from scratch and all on my lonesome. It could take decades.

[Eugh.] With any luck we won't have to spend that long here, no. I'd rather not find out if this simulation has incorporated a realistic concept of aging.
