"I am a wizard, yes," Caleb corrects gently, not really enjoying the use of the word mage. "My name is Caleb Widowgast." He steps forward with a warm smile on his face. "I was exploring and looking for spell components as my pouch was running low. I have heard sounds as I explored, but nothing that sounds too dangerous."

And he knows something about fighting things more dangerous than a squishy wizard should be able to handle. "Have you come across anything in your explorations?"
