(genius as he is, right now, there's nothing he's particularly thinking about other than the man in front of him. knowing about his world could prove interesting and useful, but there's nothing he'll grab from technology differences and similarities other than how fascinating a computer might be. what interests him is a much more contextual, personal view, and inquiring about it openly hardly feels like the way to get the other to talk.
