a step after another, nearly in a skip brings dazai osamu to the windmill, just his head poking out to see the people moving the crates. he'll ask, curious, with a smile, and thus, decide to bring some--

(of course the locals would be wary. people from all paths of life, all different places, just showing up here could make anyone suspicious. beneficial truly is to treat the newcomers with kindness not to poke an unknown bear, right?

well, it suits dazai just fine. once he's made it to town, he can't help b ut notice the jewels, the rocks, and his hand moves to his chest, where his own piece of a gem used to be - now he's just in this white prison suit.

alas, he'll come closer to listen to all the information given, there's always little gems to be taken from idle conversation, too. he's not partaking, his thin arms won't work for this, but he can keep company instead.

although, frankly, one might wish he didn't.)

('no longer human' nullifies special abilities by touch, which so happens to be dazai's ability. so, well. he is going to brush against the person, just for funsies. byebye if your ability is superstrength.)

(listen, it's not cheating if you have a lot of knowledge. the place that dazai chooses, very well done so. the baits have been scented to attract more fish, he's made them even smaller for presentation, and sometimes he'll even dip the bait into some colored powder to make it pop to a fish's poor eyesight.
