People like other people; that isn't unusual. I expect that we have all caught one another in little white lies now and again, and again, I don't find that unusual, especially where we once lived.

Perhaps he is, but his requests have been business related and there is no benefit lying to me about what he needs for his training sessions. I also find that people are entitled to their secrets; we don't divulge everything that went on with our lives to everyone we meet.

It feels like you are looking for reason to dislike him.

He calls himself Mr. Sinister. He's a geneticist that steals mutant DNA to enhance himself and prolong his life. My team dealt with him not long before I arrived here, but knowing Sinister? He'll end up crawling out of some hole to cause trouble again, if old age doesn't finally catch up to him.

Many humans settled smack-dab in the territory of a youkai, hunted and ate all of their usual food and then had the gall the cry when the youkai turned to them when nothing else was left.

Many youkai were born out of grudges and turned against those who had abused them during their mortal lives.

Is killing the ghost of a murdered woman so that their murderers can live a comfortable life and keep on with their ways of raping and discarding serf women as they please justice? Does a parent deserve to die for not wanting to see their family starve to death, just because some humans have decided to call them 'monsters'?
