There was something to be said about having a convenient spy. The Undercity thrived on the movement of people, illegal deals and information. The individual who had the most effective spy network was most likely to avoid coups and be able to eliminate certain types of rivals. That was the Undercity though, and he hadn't been given the impression that this place had a sophisticated anything in place.
He was well aware of the Firelights abilities to slip around the Undercity and they clearly had enough sympathizers to feed them information that it was impossible to plug every leak. They might be a minor annoyance - and the boy probably the defacto leader too - but those were still valuable skills. He would be remised not to poke around verbally to see where the hair blew up on the back of the kid.
"Insecure about someone that flails with their fists as a means to come to understand a situation and is currently living on the legacy of a far greater man?" He tilted his head, blinking his eyes slowly as if wondering if that was a serious question that he was to answer. "A Zaunite with a Piltie in tow feeding information about our business? That sounds more traitorous than something to be insecure about."
But Vi was a threat. In his mind, she was someone that needed to be destroyed, but that was between himself and himself. He didn't expect anyone to understand the complexity of it.
