With her history as both a bodyguard and a surveillance operative, Echo has pretty good eyes, and it's hard for her to miss noticing its mysteriously severed paw. Had he done something? She didn't notice Pride make any moves she associated with attacking, but where she's from that certainly didn't make it impossible to be him.
His shout jars her focus once again, and she spins around. A few of the nearer and braver wolves had been hoping to use the opportunity to take her down. As one readies its claws for a strike, another opens its jaw and lunges, and a third simply pounces. With no better options due to being outnumbered, Echo makes an impressive jump upwards and lands on the lower branch of a nearby tree.
She hesitates there for a second just to be sure she has a good assessment of what's happening before descending back into the fray. She did just remove herself as an obstacle between Pride and a group of attacking wolves, after all.]
