( chaos recognizes chaos and seeing it up close like this has her heart pinching in her chest. it's been almost two months since she wrecked some havoc, caused destruction, and watch her creations obliterate everything in sight. she's been reserving all of her little things given the fact it's hard to scavenge in a place like this. it's difficult to build new weapons when the blacksmith in the village smelts things in such an old fashion way. and the people had been so nice and sugary sweet -- and it's making her gag. especially when her older sister, vi, wants her to behave...well... not like herself. but to behave like a good yet incompetent younger self.

jinx has been so bored and she feels she might implode if she doesn't go off the rails. it's painful for her to keep walking in a straight path when she is so use to taking jagged streets and daring shortcuts. the teen even made a temporary truce with the boy savior and oh, how she misses perching on top of ledges and eye that prey of hers. but without the shimmer drug having that wedge between them, there's no reason for their little cat and mouse game to continue. but that doesn't mean she doesn't think back of those glory days of swatting that bug around. )

( but quentin is igniting that worn out candle again, and that twisted smile of his only brings one out of her too to match. and as he speaks, her tongue traces over her front teeth before biting her lower lip -- his words giving her such a thrill. )

So you're a lot like me. I do what I want to, too. ( she relates simply as she lifts up a hand -- letting her index and middle do a little walk cycle up his arm. )
