"Who— Vi?" Listen. He knows more than one pair of sisters, and it's been such a long time since the only pair that could possibly be relevant to Silco have been so central in his life (as they're about to be here, again.) "I'm not 12 anymore." Vi was so cool and worldly and tough when they were all kids, but she's kinda a fish out of water now. She came back to the undercity with a Piltie in tow, for crying out loud, completely unprepared for what the city had turned into during the absence that everyone assumed was her death.

Maybe that's not as relevant here in Aldrip, but the idea of following her around like a little duckling is still weird, after so many years. Even when he'd been that age, he'd been in orbit around her gang more than a part of it, wheeling off on his own just as often because of his job (and his love of scrounging through junkyards for scrap.) He's glad Silco doesn't know that much about his past because his immediate ability to connect him to Benzo in the way almost no one else has done for the last half half-decade was disturbing enough, but still.

With Silco leaning back out of his space again, he's not not unnerving, but it's easier to remember that he's just a guy. Less overwhelming.

And, it turns out, the thing about Ekko being as relentlessly nosy as he is—and with his bad habit of sneaking around and spying on everyone—is he gets a good feel for the way people bounce off each other. He doesn't know how to use it to dig in and destroy nearly as well as Silco does yet, but he's maybe learning. He finds himself squinting, because Vi's intuition about Jinx (about Powder) hadn't been as wrong as Ekko tried to make himself believe, so what does that mean for Silco? Not that much, Ekko would wager (years and years of being at war with her have wiped away that hope for him, even with their fight on the bridge) but not that much isn't the same as nothing. "... Are you insecure about her?" Is that what this is??
