[Blow her brain to bits? Now that makes Quentin pause and tilt his own head in confusion. Surely she can't mean to literally kill her. She probably meant to impress her, right? I mean, maybe she has a healing factor or something and would be totally fine if he actually popped her brain like a water balloon. Ooor she'd just be dead. Yeah, no, not worth the risk finding out. He's taking that request non-literally.
Well, sort of. Quentin rubs his chin for a moment in thought before coming to a decision. If the lady wants to be impressed...]
You got it.
[One hand goes to his head to put two fingers against his temple, and the other raises, fingers positioned as though he's holding an invisible gun. And then the invisible gun is suddenly very much visible, an old-fashioned revolver made of softly glowing, blue-tinted psychic energy. Quentin twirls it around his finger a couple of times just for style points before nonchalantly pointing it between the girl's eyes and firing.
It's just a psychic tap, really, but heavily stylized in a way only Quentin Quire would dream up. If she puts up any sort of resistance to an invasion of her mind, the psychic "bullet" will leave her a bit foggy for a few minutes, maybe a slight headache, but ultimately no harm done. If she doesn't resist, she'll find herself and Quentin transported to, well, inside her head, however that would present itself as a physical place.
Probably should have asked her name before attempting to Blue Skidoo into her mindscape, but hey, he did say he wrote the book on blowing minds.]
