This isn't Piltover, of course, but he figures it's better to give her that warning up front rather than let it become a problem that needs to be solved violently later. Either way, at Vi's name he perks up. Maybe he shouldn't, considering what he thinks he's going to have to tell her about what happened on that bridge (while knowing now that she was right, and that's definitely the worst), but things are so weird right now that he'd take it to see another familiar face.
