Paine's eyes lingered on the board. She couldn't help but think about how several people she knew would love to start tinkering with it, sparks or no sparks. It definitely needed a fix, though.
"I don't have one just yet," she replied. At least, not a good one. She'd been trying to remember what she had been told about how Tidus had gone on his fateful journey from his Zanarkand to the real Spira... somehow, she didn't think that was what had happened to her. Hearing the word hextech ruled out the kid's other two suggestions, though. "But let's assume this is real for now. Everything looks too normal for an actual dream."
She gestured at the struggling board. "I've never heard of hextech. Is that an example of it?"
