stop and smell the flowers

Does Ange feel like being at some sort of beach festival for very long?

Of course not. No, rather than being at a party full of people, or staying at the inn for too long when that's also full of people, she decided to just go out where there's less people - even if that means moving further into the woods to check things out there. Who knows, maybe she might even find a clue about this place, or something that gets them closer to finding a way home.

.. or she might - apparently - find another person out here after all. What are the odds, right.

Still, even Ange isn't going to completely ignore someone in trouble. She isn't too sure how much trouble those vines could be, sure, but on the other hand, she also doesn't feel like finding out only when they're dangling this (apparently already injured) guy over some sort of huge flesh-eating plant, or whatever they might intend on doing.

So when another vine reaches out, trying to move towards Silco's throat to presumably wrap itself around there, he may find something flying through the air, hitting the vine and cutting through it, making both halves fall pathetically to the ground.

The weapon itself keeps flying in a straight line until it drills into the trunk of a tree. If Silco looks at it at all, it looks.. kind of strange. Like a stake, or an ice pick, except it looks oddly decorated?

Still, it's followed a moment later by Ange actually appearing fully from the foilage, looking way too calm for the situation.

"Did you not hear about the danger part of going out here?" She instead says, her voice so flat and dry that it's hard to really detect any kind of emotion in it at all - and a pokerface to match.
