( A wizard...! Shinichi's ogling the man at that term (definitely thinking of some very Stereotypical Wizard Imagery, here — a pointed hat and a long white beard....) whereas Migi is more occupied with what the man does with that wire, not missing a beat from his sneaky little spot tucked into Shinichi's clothing. Just what is this tool..... (and why does it involve blood? An observation he's able to make thanks to his own enhanced senses, capable of detecting bodily fluids from pretty far distances....)

Shinichi's going to continue to stare with his mouth held slightly opened, eyes nervously following the movements of the other's hand as it moves through those tools, and then.... there's the question. 'What kind is that for you?'

It's an oddly unpleasantly jolt in his chest, something that feels like sandpaper against skin, a thing brushing the wrong way. )

It's— human. I'm human. ( It comes out strange, he's aware it does, and that awareness makes him feel weird and sick and the memory of what that thing back home said to him haunts his bones like a ghost. That thing that could look inside of him, too deep. 'You're no longer pure' )

....We don't have anything like this back home. What you can do— magic, wizards.... it's just in stories. ( He tries to explain further, swallowing against the strain of his own throat. )

So I guess it kind of... it's pretty shocking. That's why I probably seem kind of weird about it all... I'm sorry. ( He is genuinely apologetic about his own behaviour, head dipped a little bit forwards, painfully aware of how he must seem.... (and reminded, for a moment, to act more human, because that's what he is. It has to be.) )
