Pure, of course. [The Sixth has petty footnotes in storage dating ten-thousand-plus years, which is a kind of purity, technically. Something of the work remains pure, and the rest is funny. Viktor is funny; what a find. Palamedes shrugs, about not being entirely out of the culture - no, he wouldn't say so, being the man in charge and all, but they can talk about that later if Viktor is really curious.

Crime first. Crime is more immediate to their situation, after all.]

No, I don't. Truth over solace, as a rule, although if you ask me, calling me treasonous is somebody else's attempt at making their own solace. I'm not sorry, and it's a bit pathetic if earmarking me for treason makes somebody back home feel better.

This, of course, is assuming the context of each our individual homes makes a difference in the accusation; who can say! If it doesn't, and this place has marked me treasonous in only the most strictly-delineated sense of the word- you know, like, from the dictionary- then: still yes.

[And he would do it again!! Fuck the Empire!!!!]

You don't sound like you put much importance onto yours. Did you do it?
