[Now, in the company of his friends and teammates, he'd be more likely to let loose and recklessly throw himself into a dangerous situation, but being alone in what now feels like the whole universe is enough to shake things up a bit.
The fight with that thing and all of other Machine Head's hired hands was a grim reminder of the fact that no matter what monstrosities Rex has seen and faced, there will always be worse lurking about in the farthest recesses of the interdimensional void, and he's glad to have never met them.
So surprisingly, he'll keep his cards close to his chest- For now.]
