[It's hard not to notice the shock and awe on Shinichi's face as she speaks about the strange and still so mysterious metahuman abilities of her world called 'quirks'. For as much science and research into the field as there has been, there's still so many unanswered questions surrounding how, where, and why quirks began to manifest in humans when they did. No one's fully cracked the code, but have still done wonderful and...absolutely horrifying things with what's known about them. Human experiments, monstrous creations made of jamming as many quirks into one body to create humanoid beasts called Nomu...and of course the supervillains to combat the superheroes of her world. Ochako loves her world, she really does!! But right now...things are hard. Things are scary, and remembering when the sun still shone in the sky is getting harder and harder with each passing day in darkness.
But she can pretend for the sake of not causing unwanted stress and discomfort in someone else. Shinichi's already not exactly in a good spot, she doesn't want to just add onto his existing burden with her own flavor of personal baggage. That's not fair to do with someone you just met.]
Ah!! Tokyo's not that far from where I am!! I'm from Musutafu in the Shizuoka prefecture! [A city that doesn't exist outside of Ochako's world...which Shinichi may pick up on if he's good with geography.] Though, um...you're probably from a different version of Japan, ne? I-I, um...I'm very sorry if I startled you when I used my quirk. You see, I'm a Hero back home--...eh! Training!! Hero in training, I'm still schooling for it, and only have a Provisional License, not an official one, yet.
[Which she won't get until she graduates. Though, uh...considering all the Hero Academies are shut down and acting as safehouses and refuge for civilians during the war...hell, she might as well be Pro right now, as young as she is. Like there's many actual Pro Heroes left these days...]
But judging by what you said, eeh...what I can do isn't normal for you, right? That's a bit shocking for me, being so used to nearly everyone having one. I didn't think before I leapt into action, but...that's sort of what Heroes do.
